Saturday Photo Hunt and SIL update

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO FIND THE LIST OF
SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT WORDS
TODAY'S WORD IS

C R E A T I V I T Y:

IS A PHENOMENON WHEREBY SOMETHING NEW AND VALUABLE IS CREATED

I thought Mom showed quite a bit of creativity
when she made me an afghan.

The darker gray yarn is made from my furs and just a few of Remington's furs.  It was spun by
Angel Remington's Mom

this is very valuable and somewhat of a phenomenon too!!

We are happy to report my son in law was moved to Rehab unit yesterday.Today he began an intensive Physical and Occupational Therapy program.  He has 1 hour of OT and Speech Therapy a day followed by 2-1 hour Physical Therapy sessions.  Today he practiced walking, stairs and riding a recumbent bike.

Feline Facts

The Science of Cats

Law of cat inertia:
A cat at rest will tend to remain at rest, unless acted upon by some outside force---such as the opening of a cat food container.

Second Law of energy Conservation:
Cats also know that energy can only be stored by a lot of napping

Quick update

MOM HERE:  I am reporting from my iPad so this will be brief. My son in law's procedure went well today.  Now for rest and healing followed by rehab.  His doctor expects he will be moved to rehab later this week. We thank you all for your purrs, prayers you are the best.

We hope to get back on a regular schedule Thursday or Friday.
Hugs

PS:  Mom forgot to mention that she has an itty bitty head cold...so she walked around the hospital in a mask.  Unfortunately she left the camera at home.

Funny story and update

Mom and I cannot tell you how much we appreciate all
your prayers and comments over the last week while
we were MIA.  My sweet bro-in-law made steady
progress all week.  His speech is 100% back...
as you will be able to tell from the following *story.
A menu selection for the next day's meals comes with every lunch tray at the hospital.  However, over the week due to shift change sitting with my bro-in-law(BIL)the selection was not made on Saturday.
Saturday night when BIL's tray arrived the aroma was enough to make your nose do a dance.  My sis (is a germ-a phobic) insisted BIL wash his hands again even though he had just done it.  Finally BIL was able to take the lid off the plate....
staring him in the face was a lovely plate of spaghetti................
but on the side of the plated was a pile of GREEN FOOD
(not green eggs). BIL looks up at Sissy to find her eyes about to pop out of her head.
 BIL finally says
*WHAT THE HE** IS THIS
Sissy said when BIL said that she LOL'd so hard her eyes started leaking then BIL started LOL'ing
Sissy bravely volunteered to give the GREEN FOOD a taste test.
Yep it was exactly what the thought is was.
Pureed (baby poopie green)

My BIL is nearly a gourmet cook he often makes up his
own recipes......loves tasting new things but never ever
will he eat GREEN peas whole or pureed.  The nurse heard the commotion coming from BIL's.  When she came in to check it out
the first word out of her mouth was
WHAT THE HECK IS THAT GREEN BLOB

So Mom and I have a question:
1. Do you have veggies with your Spaghetti?
2. If so, would  you have green peas with spaghetti

******************************
My BIL has one more hurdle to jump tomorrow.
He will have a stent put in his carotid artery tomorrow.
We'll keep you posted as we have news.
LOTS OF HUGS
